Coaches from age groups U9 – U12 (3rd thru 6th grade) are asked to bring their team to a designated evening practice, use a curriculum (provided in advance) to help improve each player’s technical play, with the support of 2 Revs coaches. Coaches may then sign up for a second team-specific practice – and may chose to continue to work on those skills, or tactical issues at their discretion.

U9 is the transition year into BAYS travel soccer. The U9 teams (composed largely of 3rd grade players) play a modified travel schedule; traveling to nearby towns for away games, hosting those same towns for home games, and also continuing to play some games vs. other WYSA U9 teams. There will be at least one team practice session each week - organized at the coach's discretion. The focus is on learning the nuances of competitive soccer, in a fun, team-oriented environment. While the teams do compete, the emphasis is on education and not on results.

Walpole Youth Soccer fully supports the BAYS Zero Tolerance Policy. All individuals responsible for a team, and all spectators, shall support the referee, linesmen and players. Failure to do so will undermine the referee’s authority and has the potential of creating a hostile environment for the players, the referee, and all the other participants and spectators.
