Spring 2021 Registration

Registration for the Spring 2021 programs is now OPEN.

  • Registration for players in Grades 4-8 will move to waitlist status after December 31, 2020.
  • Registration for players in Grade 3 will move to waitlist status after January 31, 2021.
  • Registration for players in Grades K-2 will move to waitlist status after February 28, 2021.

    Winter Pickup Soccer

    WYSA is pleased to be able to offer a short season outdoor pickup soccer program for our players in Grades 1-8 beginning on Saturday November 28, 2020 at the new Route 1A Athletic Complex. The program will run, weather permitting, on Saturdays through December 19, 2020.

  • Registration will initially be limited to 16 players per age group. Waitlist slots may open up depending on registration in each age group.
  • Registrants will be asked via email poll to confirm by Wednesday of each week whether they will be attending the upcoming Saturday session - so that teams can be formed accordingly.
  • Players with last minute plan changes will not be permitted to attend if they have already responded “No”. For contact tracing and team formation purposes, your response to the poll will be binding for that week’s session.
  • New teams will be formed each week. Teams will be of mixed ability - this program is designed to enable kids to have fun and play soccer. Scores will not be kept. Performances will not be evaluated.
  • Games will take place from 10 am through 3 pm. The schedule will be released by Friday of each week. Time slots for age groups could change week to week based on attendance response, but we will generally schedule younger players in the earlier timeslots.
  • Please arrive on time to check in and begin play promptly during your allotted time slot.
  • Age groups may be combined with the grade above or below - based on attendance response.
  • Players should bring 3 shirts every week - Blue, White and Orange. Players will be asked to wear the color of their assigned team as no pinnies or sharing of equipment will be permitted.
  • All COVID safety/playing rules will be followed (including players wearing masks, no throw-ins, players required to observe social distancing) and 1 spectator per participant.
  • Cost will be $40 for the season ($10/session) with players receiving a credit toward Spring registration for any sessions that are cancelled due to weather.
  • Games will be anywhere from 5v5 to 7v7 to maximize playing time. Games may feature subs. No goalkeepers. Games may be officiated.
