WYSA is pleased to offer its players weekly skills clinics with the professional coaches from the Revs! These will be focused on improving each player's individual footwork and ball skills, allowing players to develop quickly and feel comfortable playing in their weekly games. WYSA Coaches are strongly encouraged to attend, interact with the Pros (and players), watch a practice plan implemented and receive a practice curriculum for their own team. Starting after Labor Day the schedule is as follows:

U9 is the transition year into BAYS travel soccer. The U9 teams (composed largely of 3rd grade players) play a modified travel schedule; traveling to nearby towns for away games, hosting those same towns for home games, and also continuing to play some games vs. other WYSA U9 teams. There will be at least one team practice session each week - organized at the coach's discretion. The focus is on learning the nuances of competitive soccer, in a fun, team oriented environment. While the teams do compete, the emphasis is on education and not on results.

Walpole Youth Soccer fully supports the BAYS Zero Tolerance Policy. All individuals responsible for a team, and all spectators, shall support the referee, linesmen and players. Failure to do so will undermine the referee’s authority and has the potential of creating a hostile environment for the players, the referee, and all the other participants and spectators. All players who registered for travel soccer before the registration deadline have been placed on a team. Some teams will have a coach already in place while WYSA will work through the summer to find coaches for others. Players can expect to be contacted by their coach by early August.
