The WYSA Board would like to say a BIG "THANK YOU" to all who helped with this year's raffle, including the donors of all our gifts, the coaches and raffle coordinators, the kids and parents, all who purchased raffle tickets, and the calendar raffle team who pulled it all together. Thank you for helping the WYSA provide a great program for all the players in Walpole.

Walpole Youth Soccer is a 501(c)3 non-profit
WYSA is an all volunteer organization supporting over 1,000 players, playing on 84+ teams, from grades K through 8th grade. The WYSA has almost 200 volunteers [coaches, asst coaches, parent managers, field helpers, coordinators, directors and other volunteers]. All the volunteers willingly give their time to help the soccer players of Walpole have the best possible experience while out on the soccer fields. We are always seeking additional volunteers who have experience as coaches, and those who just want to help out - see the volunteer section below if you would like to give us a hand.
The registration cost at $200 per year [2 seasons] is considered reasonable when compared to other one season programs in walpole including lacrosse, football/cheer, basketball, swimming, indoor soccer and others. Scholarships/Fee Waivers are available to those families who need them to make sure that all the Walpole soccer players who want to play soccer, get that chance.
But - registration does not cover all of the things we would like to do for our soccer players.
So our big additional fundraiser is the Fall “Raffle Calendar”. Every day during the month of November, someone will win a prize or series of prizes generally worth over $100, and sometimes well over $250. Over the last several years, this extra money has been used to make sure that our fields at Mylod & Ellis are maintained at a very high level, offer extra professionally coached clinics for the players, also to help train over 80 soccer coaches - so that they are better coaches for the players, can train our players better, so they can have more fun and grow to be even better players. We are also continuing to work through the process of expanding/optimizing our field space at Mylod and even more importantly our parking at Mylod so that we can better utilize our existing field space in the future.
